Teenager injured in shooting near Western and Lombardy in South Bend

A teenager was injured in a shooting early Friday morning on the city’s west side.

The incident occurred just after midnight near Western Avenue and Lombardy Drive, near Washington High School.

Police say the victim’s injuries are not considered to be non-life threatening.

They encourage anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to get in touch with Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
