Berrien County Health Department reschedules SoilSHOP event for July 17

The Berrien County Health Department has moved its SoilSHOP free soil lead testing program to Wednesday, July 17 during the Benton Harbor Farmers Market. From 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Benton Harbor residents are encouraged to bring soil samples from their garden, yard or play area to be screened for lead.

WSJM says results will be provided within 15 minutes.
