Indiana Olympians off to good start in Paris

Two runners with ties to Indiana are off to a good start to their Olympic Games in Paris.
Indianapolis-native Cole Hocker, who was a state champion middle-distance runner at Cathedral, placed 2nd in his preliminary round of the men’s 1500-meters securing his spot in the semi-finals of the event. Also, Yared Nugoose, who runs for the University of Notre Dame, qualified for the semi-finals of the 1500-meters by placing 5th in his preliminary round race.
Both runners have tomorrow off before the semi-final round commences on Sunday, August 4th.
