The City of Mishawaka is working on the purchase of a property that has sat vacant for over 20 years.
The 150-year-old Dodge complex sits just outside of downtown on a 22-acre site.
According to WSBT, the City plan to revitalize the old property, though there is not yet any plan set in stone.
They say the City plans to purchase the property for about $250,000 near the end of the month, with plans to tear it down and remediate the property.
Officials say it could be at least 2027 before they’re ready to do anything in terms of development with the property.
