Buchanan Mayor Sean Denison resigns

He says he wants to focus on his health, family, and things that bring him joy. With that, Buchanan’s Mayor has resigned.

Sean Denison made the announcement during this week’s City Commission meeting. He thanked his supporters and staff those who have worked alongside him, but he also said the level of incivility he’s faced is too much.

City commissioners will choose a replacement to take the Mayor’s office for the rest of Denison’s two-year term.
