Cass County Drug Enforcement Team seizes drugs and firearm in Mason Township raid

One person was placed under arrest after the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant in the 19000 block of State Line Road in Mason Township, leading to the discovery of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm.

The raid took place on Friday, Aug. 30.

The search resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old man, who was charged with possession of methamphetamine and felony firearm. The suspect’s name is being withheld pending arraignment in the 4th District Court.

The operation was conducted with the assistance of the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
