Police investigating shooting on Johnson Street in South Bend

Two people were hurt in a shooting in the 1600 block of Johnson Street in South Bend.

Officers were called to the scene around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 3.

When they arrived, they discovered only one person was struck. The other person suffered a different injury during the incident, according to WNDU.

Both people were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

So far, there is no word about any suspects, arrests or information about what led to the gunfire.
