NIPSCO is closing all westbound lanes of W. Douglas Road just west of Grape Road beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Sep. 12 for emergency gas leak repairs.
Only eastbound traffic will be maintained during this closure. Westbound motorists are asked to use State Road 23 and Edison Road as detours during this process.
Weather permitting, this lane closure is expected to be in place until Sunday, Sep.15.
Barricades and signage will be in place during this restriction.
