The “designated outdoor refreshment area”  opened in downtown Mishawaka on Wednesday afternoon, Sep. 11.

The new program, part of the city’s downtown revitalization efforts, allows people to buy alcoholic drinks from Sun King Brewery, Social Cantina, and Mishawaka Public House and enjoy them outside in a designated area.

Businesses are excited about the boost this could bring to downtown.
