A report made at Tuesday’s Early Learning Advisory Committee meeting is concerning for Indiana’s early childhood educators.
80% of these educators are not earning enough to support themselves.
The committee says that approximately 2,400 childcare jobs go unfilled in Indiana each year.
The report, from the organization “Talent First,” indicates that more than 38,000 early childhood educators in the state earn less than Indiana’s self-sufficiency standard for a single adult.

Yer more than half the states budget goes to education. I think they are earning more than the median of the states citizens. Nobody will ever say they are being pad too much.
