$4 million federal grant to help fund The SOURCE services

A $4 million federal grant will be helping fund services for youth who have experienced a mental health crisis.

The Elkhart County Health Department and The SOURCE, Elkhart County’s system of care, received a third expansion grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, totaling $4 million over 4 years.

The SOURCE is hosted by Oaklawn and is a group of providers and families working to remove barriers to mental health resources and treatment for children, teens and young adults.

This third expansion of the grant will focus on helping youth who have experienced a mental health crisis, helping them transition to stability.
