Elkhart man pleads guilty to robbing local bank

An Elkhart man accused of robbing a local bank has pleaded guilty..
31-year-old Markeese Hunter admitted to robbing the First Source Bank on East Franklin Street in Elkhart in early February.
Police say Hunter, who uses a wheelchair, entered the bank, handed a teller a note demanding money, and then fled. Elkhart Police quickly arrested Hunter just blocks away, finding the stolen cash on him.
The Goshen News says Hunter was paralyzed in 2013 after a shooting in South Bend. His sentencing is set for November 14.
