A 36-year-old man accused of burglarizing a California Road home had his jury trial continued last week.

Jeremy Shult allegedly burglarized the home in January.

A call came in, reporting that Shult was inside the home, had multiple warrants, and that the caller, a youth, had gone outside and was hiding behind a fence.

When officers arrived, they saw Shult exiting the home and attempted to apprehend him, though he fled by vehicle before continuing on foot.

The Goshen News says he was eventually apprehended and officers were able to estimate about $6,600 worth of items were taken from the home. Shult’s jury trial was continued from November 18 to March 31.
