Middlebury Community Schools is offering a special opportunity to older residents.

They’re offering older residents in the community a “Gold Card,” which provides seniors with free admission to a variety of school activities, including athletic events, plays, concerts and musicals.

Superintendent Jayson Snyder says the mission behind the Gold Card program is to show older residents that they are valued members of the community as well as to showcase the amazing work the students and staff are doing.

Snyder says the district wants people of all ages to feel like they belong and to stay connected, no matter their age.
