One teen has been sentenced and another given a scheduled court date in connection with an armed robbery that happened last year.
Eduardo Rueda and Johnathan Martinez are accused of the armed robbery that happened in Goshen in February of last year.
The Goshen News says a 16-year-old made an Instagram post selling a PlayStation 5, which Rueda responded to with interest in purchasing.
Reports say Rueda met with the victim at their home where they were discussing the transaction when a white truck, later linked to Martinez, pulled up.
The driver allegedly pointed a gun and took the PlayStation. Police say Rueda allegedly set up the robbery.
Martinez is facing 12 years at the Indiana Department of Corrections with five years on reporting probation. Rueda’s pretrial conference is scheduled for January 18.
