Two killed in Thanksgiving evening crash in Kosciusko County

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Thanksgiving crash that killed two people and left another in critical condition.

It was just before 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, when two vehicles collided head-on on Old Road 30, west of Brallier Road, north of Pierceton.

The drivers of both vehicles, 24-year-old Manuel Apolinar Tlahuetl and 54-year-old Heather M. Rice, died at the scene, according to the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
