The Cassopolis School Board reviewed long-term facilities plans at their latest meeting.

Developed with community input, the $42.2 million proposal hinges on a no-millage-increase bond vote set for May 2025.

Projects discussed include relocating Cassopolis Middle School, enhancing building security, upgrading environmental systems, remodeling kitchens and improving playgrounds at Sam Adams Elementary. Other plans involve new signage and classroom technology upgrades.

Officials emphasized transparency, stating that finalized bond details and project lists will be available on the district’s website.

Leader Publications says the zero mill increase is planned for the May 6 ballot.
