Authorities say a high-speed pursuit led to a teen’s arrest on Monday.

It happened around 4 a.m. on I-94 near Burns Harbor. A State Trooper stopped a white Audi for speeding at 110 mph through a construction zone.

Twice, the driver fled, and during the second attempt, the vehicle collided with a semi-truck. No injuries were reported, but the driver, 19-year-old Brandan Williams, was arrested.

Police found a fully automatic Glock and nearly $16,000 in cash in the vehicle. Williams faces multiple felony charges, along with his passenger, 19-year-old Marega Yussuf.

Both are being held in Porter County Jail.
