Woman injured in rollover crash in New Paris

A single-vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon left a Warsaw woman injured after her car struck a tree and flipped over.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. on County Road 25 near County Road 50. According to police reports, a Ford Escape driven by the 35-year-old woman was traveling southbound when it veered across the center line, left the road, and struck a tree before overturning onto its roof.
Emergency responders extracted the woman from the vehicle. She was transported by ambulance to Parkview North Hospital, suffering from chest pain and a laceration to her left knee. Authorities confirmed she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The vehicle sustained extensive damage. No citations were issued, and the incident remains under investigation.
