A brand of eye drops is being recalled nationwide over fungal contamination. The FDA announced that Alcon Laboratories is recalling bottles of “Systane Lubricant Eye Drops Ultra SPT, Single Vials On-the-Go.”
They come in 25-count packages.
The voluntary recall comes after a consumer reported a “foreign material” found in a sealed vial.
The company investigated and determined it was fungal.
