As the holiday season continues, Insurance Canopy says 1 in 5 Americans are likely to be drinking and driving.

A holiday drinking study surveyed 1,000 Americans across different generations, genders and income levels to determine habits, preferences and risks during the holiday season.

Results showed 65 percent of Gen Z drink more alcohol during the holidays.

1 in 10 have more than 6 drinks on Christmas, and nearly 25 percent of millennials have gotten in a fight due to holiday drinking. Over half of Americans say they regret their holiday drinking habits.

About 80 percent of Gen Z say they enjoy holiday drinking games, and almost 3 out of 5 prefer alcohol at holiday work parties. With so much alcohol consumption during this season, you’re reminded to never drink and drive.
