If you’re serving jury duty in LaPorte County this year, there are several items you won’t be able to bring into the courthouse.

The LaPorte County Board of Commissioners has approved an updated list of prohibited items for all county courthouses.

Among the items banned are pen knives, carpenter’s knives, metal kitchen knives, all types of pocket knives, and switchblades or any spring-activated knives.

Make sure to leave these items at home when attending jury duty.
