Dowagiac Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Saturday morning near Riverside Drive and Hill Street. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11.

Witnesses at the scene, who had been sledding at the nearby Elks Golf Course, reported seeing two vehicles-a gray sedan and a white SUV-exchanging gunfire. An unidentified individual was also spotted fleeing the area on foot during the incident.
