Elkhart SWAT operation ends with one in custody

A SWAT operation in Elkhart ended with one person in custody.
Officers helped the Elkhart County Regional SWAT team with serving a warrant, Wednesday night, Jan. 22,in the 700 block of James Street, near Goshen Avenue and Middlebury Street.
Police say they tried to get the suspect to leave the home, but when that failed, SWAT stepped in.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
