A man was sentenced for dealing cocaine last week.

ICE investigators were conducting surveillance nearby and noted several people standing on a front porch. Forest Lamar told police he was visiting his daughter but would not say which apartment she stayed in.

After asking Lamar to remove what was in his front pocket, cash began to fall out as well as bags of crack cocaine.

Lamar was sentenced for dealing in cocaine to four years at the Indiana Department of Corrections with two years suspended on reporting probation and two years at Michiana Community Corrections.
