Hobart man killed in officer-involved shooting

The Indiana State Police, at the request of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department, is investigating an officer-involved shooting.
This, after a Jasper County deputy conducted a traffic stop, Sunday afternoon, Jan. 26, on State Road 14 close to the Pulaski County line.
During the stop, the suspect, identified as Matthew Huttle, 42, of Hobart, resisted arrest, leading to an altercation.
The deputy fired their weapon, fatally wounding Huttle.
The investigation revealed Huttle was armed.
Huttle was pardoned by President Trump, last week, as part of the mass January 6th pardon.
