Cass County drug enforcement team arrests two in methamphetamine busts

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team and the Michigan Department of Correction executed a joint operation on Tuesday, feb. 4, that resulted in the arrest of two men on drug charges.
Detectives first responded to a home in the 300 block of Louise Avenue in Dowagiac, where a search revealed methamphetamine and related paraphernalia. A 43-year-old man was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine.
Later, detectives conducted a second search at a home in the 26000 block of Gage Street in Wayne Township. There, they discovered methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and evidence suggesting methamphetamine distribution. A second 43-year-old man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
The names of both suspects are being withheld pending their arraignment in the 4th District Court.
