The House Ways and Means Committee is considering a budget bill that would make school choice universal.
The measure puts 19-billion dollars into tuition support for K through 12 students. It removes income limits for the Choice Scholarship Program, which offers vouchers to parents who chose private schools for their children.
The Indiana House Speaker aims to have a budget plan passed by the end of next week.
