Goshen man arrested for OWI after found slumped over steering wheel

A man was arrested for operating while intoxicated after Goshen Police found him slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle in the middle of an intersection.
Officers stopped to assist a car with its hazard lights flashing at the intersection of West Plymouth Avenue and South 3rd Street jusat after 32:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.
The driver, identified as Adan Delgado Romo, 27, of Goshen, was unresponsive at the wheel.
The police investigation revealed Romo had never obtained a driver’s license. He refused a certified chemical test, prompting officers to conduct a blood draw, with results pending.
Romo was taken into custody and transported to the Elkhart County Jail.
