Elkhart County’s tourism industry will see a boost in the next couple months.

The Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau says February and March will be big months with two major swimming events at Elkhart Health & Aquatics.

The Great Lakes Valley Conference Swimming & Diving Championships will run February 11 through 15, followed three weeks later by the NAIA Championships.

The events help generate significant economic benefits, with 2023’s meet bringing in $1.1 million.
