A 60-year-old woman sustained back and neck injuries after her vehicle crashed into a tree on County Road 28
The Goshen woman was traveling westbound on County Road 28, just west of County Road 17, around 11:10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, when police say when she lost control due to slippery road conditions.
Officials say her right wheels veered into the slush on the north side of the roadway.
While trying to correct her course, she overcompensated, sending the vehicle off the road entirely before colliding head-on with a tree.
The woman, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Authorities are reminding drivers to exercise caution when navigating winter road conditions.
