Vote whether to place South Bend Schools superintendent on leave postponed

The South Bend School Board postponed its vote, on Friday, Feb. 14, on whether to plaice Superintendent Todd Cummings on paid leave.

The meeting is now set for Wednesday, Feb. 19.

The decision frustrated some community members, with Bill Sniadecki opposing the delay.

WSBT reports there are conflicting reports have surfaced about the February 6th school bus incidents during icy conditions.

One board member claims 24 slide-offs and four accidents, but official records confirmed 13 minor incidents, with no buses stuck in ditches.

Police reported minimal involvement.
