Recall petitions have been filed against Benton Harbor City Commission members.

Including Mayor Marcus Muhammad, Second Ward Commissioner SaTanna Warren, and First Ward Commissioner Sharon Henderson.

One petition seeks to remove Muhammad and Warren for voting to appoint Alex Little as city manager. Another targets Henderson for allegedly violating Section 22 of the city charter by neglecting civil service board duties.

A hearing on Feb. 26 will determine if the petitions are valid. If approved, signature collection for recall elections could begin.
