An organization in Michigan is looking for hospice volunteers in 10 counties, including some in Michiana.

Centrica Care Navigators is seeking dedicated volunteers who can provide companionship and support for patients and families dealing with life-limiting illnesses.

The organization serves 10 counties, including Berrien, Cass, Van Buren, and St. Joseph in Michigan.

Volunteers would provide support in ways that include visiting patients at home and facilities, giving volunteers a break, pet therapy owners who can bring a furry friend to visit, veterans to visit with fellow veterans, and licensed cosmetologists and barbers to provide haircuts.

A small donation of time can make a large difference. Volunteers are required to complete an orientation process, and you can learn more at https://centricacare.org/volunteer/volunteer-opportunities/.
