A man charged with burglary had his trial continued last week.

Reports say police were called for a burglary in progress on Greenleaf Blvd. where a homeowner told officers a man was sleeping in her garage.

The homeowner said her belongings had been moved around and stated that the man had drank alcohol she had in her garage fridge.

The man, identified as 44-year-old Daniel Bradley, allegedly told police that he was drunk and could not walk and was found with a pouch containing meth.

The Goshen News states that Bradley reportedly said he would rather go to trial than get a plea bargain he did not agree with. His trial has been continued to June 2.
