Niles man arrested, criminal activity evidence seized following search warrant

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant Sunday, March 9,  which led to the arrest of a Niles man and the seizure of evidence related to criminal activity.
Authorities arrested Stephen Frank Gill, 38, of Niles, at a home on Lake Street in Howard Township.
Following the investigation, Gill was formally charged in Cass County District Court with accosting children for immoral purposes, using a computer to commit a crime, and possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $50,000.
The case remains under investigation. Officials urge anyone with information to contact the Cass County Sheriff’s Office at (269) 445-1560
