The South Bend Wastewater Treatment Plant conducted a Homeland Security Emergency Exercise Drill at the Pinhook Park Pavilion on Thursday.
The drill tested the effectiveness of the Unified Incident Command System, the Emergency Operations Center, and key components of the National Incident Management System.
It also simulated a chemical release to assess response actions in a real-life scenario.
