St. Joseph County Police have launched a community-wide effort to support the newly established Portage Pantry.
Organizing a week-long food drive, the department aims to collect non-perishable food items and essential hygiene products.
Residents are encouraged to contribute by dropping off donations at the county jail on Sample Street, open for donations from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Friday.
The initiative invites all community members to participate, emphasizing the importance of bringing items directly to the front lobby for collection.
