Carjacking suspect sentenced to more than decade in prison

A man accused of an attempted carjacking was sentenced to over a decade in prison.

Jessie Haradon is one of two men charged with attempted robbery, battery, theft, resisting law enforcement and impersonating a public servant in the incident.

It happened in July of 2023 when officers were called to Walmart in Goshen for a car theft in progress.

The victim stated that he was battered and that the two men had impersonated police officers. Haradon has been sentenced to a total of 12 years in prison.
