Marketplace robbery suspect pleads guilty

A man accused of a robbery at the Middlebury Pizza Hut has pleaded guilty.

It happened in February of last year. Anthony Amaya Jr. allegedly held a person at gunpoint while meeting over a social media marketplace purchase.

The Goshen News says Amaya fled from the area after displaying a handgun and demanding the victim’s property.

He pleaded guilty to Armed Robbery and will be sentenced on May 15.
