Collision between semi-truck and South Shore train in St. Joseph County

Fortunately, there was no report of any injuries when a semi truck collided with a South Shore Train.

The crash happened around 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, at the Smilax Road crossing.

The train was carrying more than 140 people when the crash happened.

Police are still looking into factors into the collision.
