New Prairie student athletes involved in a four-vehicle crash involving buses

Several injuries were reported after a four-vehicle crash in LaPorte County Thursday involving two school buses.

The students involved in the crash were athletes from the New Prairie United Schools.

It happened at US- 20 and Fail Road just after 4:15 p.m. when a New Prairie Mini Bus was struck by a box truck, and another bus was on its side. The Hobart Schools announced that JV and Varsity Baseball games with New Prairie were canceled.

No other details have been given.
