The St. Joseph County Fire Territory has officially opened the upgraded Warren Fire Station 18, improving emergency services for Warren Township and surrounding areas.
Located next to the old station, the new facility includes expanded amenities like a weight room, entertainment center, and an outdoor trail.
The station will now house five firefighters at a time, up from three, and plans are in place to add an ambulance to the service.
The upgrades will speed up response times, enabling quicker deployment of resources like tankers and squads.
