A man accused of auto theft has pleaded guilty.

A salesman at JD Auto Sales reported a vehicle missing in June of 2024, stating the keys to a Ford Taurus that was in the lot were given to Jackie Rozell Lee Parker, allowing him to check the air conditioning in the car prior to purchasing.

The Goshen News says while Parker was checking the car, the salesman left to get cleaning supplies, but reportedly returned to find Parker and the car gone.

Parker pleaded guilty to auto theft and was sentenced to two and a half years at the Indiana Department of Corrections suspended on probation.
