A two-vehicle crash on County Road 20 just west of U.S. Highway 33 left one person hospitalized Friday evening.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 6, just east of the Elkhart city limits.

Investigators say a Dodge Ram driven by a 57-year-old Elkhart man changed lanes into the path of a Lexus ES350, also traveling southeast. The Dodge’s rear driver side struck the front passenger side of the Lexus, sending both vehicles into the center median. The Lexus then rolled over onto its roof.

A woman who was in the pickup truck was taken to Elkhart General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
