One in custody after Niles shooting

One person has been taken into custody following a shooting that took place at J.D.’s Truckstop near Niles.
The shooting happened early Friday morning and is believed to have stemmed from a road rage incident. The person who was shot was taken to Memorial Hospital for Treatment.
Leader Publications reports police found the suspect’s vehicle in Indiana, and Berrien County Sheriff’s Office detectives worked with Mishawaka Police to close in on the suspect.
