Nappanee woman among 7 people taken to hospital after crash on County Road 13

A woman from Nappanee was injured in a crash on County Road 13 at County Road 46.
It happened around 11:50 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, when a vehicle, traveling northbound failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled directly into the path of a westbound vehicle. The northbound vehicle struck the passenger side door of the westbound vehicle.
The driver of the northbound vehicle, a 40-year-old woman, was transported to Elkhart General Hospital with complaints of arm pain. A passenger in her vehicle also reported upper abdominal pain and was taken to Elkhart General for treatment.
The driver of the westbound vehicle, a second woman, suffered neck pain and was transported to Parkview Warsaw Hospital. All passengers in her vehicle were also evaluated at Parkview Warsaw.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
