(95.3 MNC)
Two people were taken to the hospital early Friday morning following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 26 and County Road 21.
The collision occurred around 4:30 a.m., when a northbound 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by a 27-year-old Niles, Michigan woman, failed to yield the right of way and entered the intersection, striking the front end of a westbound 2017 Chevrolet Cruze.
Both drivers – the woman and a 47-year-old man from Goshen – were wearing seatbelts and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to Goshen General Hospital for treatment.
The Niles woman was cited for operating a motor vehicle without financial responsibility and failure to yield. The Goshen man was cited for driving with a suspended license.
The crash caused passenger-side damage to the Equinox and front-end damage to the Cruze.
