A man is facing an OWI charge after allegedly trying to set a vehicle on fire last week.

50-year-old Jeffery Samuels is accused of driving drunk on Thursday and running into an outbuilding.

Officers say they arrived to find Samuels allegedly pouring gas into the cab of a truck, trying to start it on fire. Samuels was detained and was reportedly found with a BAC at or above .15.

He’s facing an Operating While Intoxicated charge and is currently being held at the Marshall County Jail.
