A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a semi-truck on Bristol Street, according to the Elkhart Police Department.

The crash happened shortly before 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, in the 1500 block of Bristol Street. First responders arrived to find the male motorcycle driver, who was the only person on the bike, dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi-truck was not injured and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
